For the white sauce, it is important that the milk comes directly from the refrigerator! Slowly bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan with the flour and butter, stirring constantly.
When the sauce thickens, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir every now and then. Finally, season the white sauce with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
