Instructions:

Slice the washed unpeeled oranges diagonally to the grain and always alternate layers with sugar and cloves in glasses.

Top with cognac, making sure the liquid level is about 1 centimeter above the top slice. Store tightly closed for two weeks.

E.g. with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a little bit of brittle.
