Instructions:

1. parsley rinse and chop finely. Mix with mayonnaise, yogurt and mustard. Peel garlic and press through garlic press directly into dip. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.

2. mix beer and eggs. Fold in flour and cheese. Peel onions and cut into wedges. Stick 1-2 wedges on 1 wooden skewer each.

Heat the oil in a high saucepan or deep fryer to about 180 °C. Pull the onion skewers through the beer batter in portions and fry in the hot oil for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen roll. Serve with the dip.

Extra tip If you like, you can vary the onion skewers, e.g. with olives or chili peppers. Put them on the skewers together with the onions and deep-fry them.
